General - Cabopino Marina is set in a pleasant, small harbour surrounded by Andalucian style houses which makes a nice change from the normal high rise developments. Good shelter within the harbour. Limited space for transient yachts and it is recommended that you call ahead to confirm there is a berth available. Marina charges are on the high side. Position - 36º 29' N 4º 44' W Charts, Pilots & Cruising Guides - See the following link for Andalucia Charts Approach & Entrance - Care is required in strong SW - W winds. The harbour lies 4 miles to the SSW of Punta Calaburras lighthouse and 8 miles to the E of Marbella. The white houses and harbour breakwater can be seen from afar. Closer in the Torre de Cala Honda, a partly ruined square, just to the W will be seen. The harbour entrance is prone to silting, maximum depth is 2m, and is best approached on the flood.
