General - Douarnenez is set on the wild north-west coast of Finistere. The town of Douarnenez lies in the SE corner of the bay of Douarnenez. The visitors' pontoon is to be found on the west side of the river.

Berths - On the visitors pontoons. There is a good anchorage at Rosmeur to the east of Douarnenez. In calm weather or with offshore breezes it is also possible to anchor in the Rade du Guet to the north of Douarnenez.

Diesel & Petrol - On the Quai de l'Yser on the north side of the entrance to Treboul marina

Local Area - There is a maritime museum in Douarnenez. Plage de Sables Blancs and Plage St Jean are two of the most attractive beaches in the area.
