General - Doca de Santo Amaro is the third of Lisbon's six marinas as you travel up the Rio Tejo. It is run by the Administracao do Porto de Lisboa. There is noise both from traffic passing over the bridge and several bars in the vicinity that stay open until the early hours. Position - 38º 40' N 9º 18' W Tides; Reference port - Lisbon is a standard port Heights in metres -

Enter the Rio Tejo between Fort Sao Julio on the N shore and Fort Bugio in the channel to the SE. From the north - Keep 1 mile of Cabo da Roca and Cabo Rasa. Follow the coast and enter the Rio Tejo between Fort Sao Julio on the N shore and Fort Bugio in the channel to the SE. To enter - Care is needed as there are strong cross currents at the entrance. This is the third marina as you travel up river. The entrance is on the N shore of the river just 150m beyond the Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge.
