General - Marina Viana do Castelo lies near the mouth of the River Lima on the W coast of Portugal. Position - 41º 41' N 8º 50' W Tides; Reference port - Lisbon Mean time differences - HW: -10 minutes ±10; LW: +15 minutes ±5 Heights in metres -

Head in from the 20m line and follow the buoyed channel on a course of 005º. From the north - The coast has some off lying hazards and yachts should keep outside the 20m line. Round the outer breakwater leaving it 500m to port. Follow the buoyed channel on a course of 005º. To enter - Leave the entrance to the fishing dock to port and continue up the buoyed channel. The entrance to the marina is to port just before the bridge. There are strong cross currents at the entrance and care is needed. Berths - The visitors berth is on the first pontoon on entry.
