General - A bit of a swell can build up but this only really affects the boats on the East sea wall, just past the tower on the starboard side. However, in an Easterly blow the vessels on the east sea wall catch up a lot of salt water over the wall. Attractive marina complex surrounded by apartments, shops, bars and restaurants. The overall design has been inspired by Portofino. The staff are all helpful with English spoken by those in the control tower. At the time of writing (May 2006) there are a lot of building works going on thus producing lots of dust. There are sandy beaches to either side of the marina and golf, riding, tennis and squash courts nearby. One of the most expensive marinas on this part of the coast.
Water & Electric - On the pontoons
Security - Open pontoons. Mobile security guards patrol the berths
Wi-Fi Internet - There is internet access in Flaherty´s Bar.
Facilities & Services - Most repairs, GRP, Sailmaker, 150 tonne travel lift, Chandlers, Petrol and Diesel, Launderette, Supermarket
Eating Out - Plenty of choice in the marina and more in the village of Guadiaro 1 mile away.
Local Area - Gibraltar in 20 miles away
Arnie Arnold helped compile this report and he says "Overall it's a good marina"
