General - Puerto de Cambrils is an artificial fishing and yachting harbour lying on the Costa Dorada on the E coast of Spain. It is easy to approach and enter and has good shelter once inside. Position - 41º 04' N 1º 04' E Charts - British Admiralty 1701 1704 French 4720 Spanish 838 Approach & Entrance; From the south - The reddish rocky cliffs of the Sierra de Balaguer end at Punta de Riu de Llastres and the coast becomes low, flat and sandy. The houses and harbour works at Cambrils can be seen from afar. From the north - Round Cabo Salou and follow the low, flat sandy coast. The houses and breakwater of Puerto de Cambrils can be seen from afar. To enter - Leave the eastern breakwater 25m to starboard. Leave the western breakwater head to port at 15m. Pass between the inner breakwaters of the harbour. Berths - Go stern to in the E side of the marina and ask at the office.
