General - Puerto de Garraf is a large marina lying on the Costa Dorada on the E coast of Spain. Position - 41º 15' N 1º 54' E Charts - British Admiralty 1704 French 4827, 7298 Spanish 871, 488A Approach & Entrance; From the south - After passing Vilanova i la Geltru the coast becomes rocky. Puerto de Garraf is located 1.7 miles beyond the conspicuous cement works and harbour at Vallcarca. From the north - Barcelona is easily identified by the mass of buildings. The flat and featureless delta of Rio Llobregat is followed by the hills of the Sierra de la Guardia. Puerto de Garraf is the second harbour along after Port Ginesta. To enter - The entrance is prone to silting so round the E breakwater close to and follow at 10m. The visitors berth is immediately to starboard on entry Berths - Secure to the visitors berth and report to the Torre de Control Marina Contact ; Tel - Fax - Web VHF Ch - 9 Maximum Length - Water - On the pontoons.
