General - Puerto Deportivo de Palamos lies on the Costa Brava on the NE coast of Spain.

Approach & Entrance;
From the south - Punta de Garbi and the harbour of Sant Feliu de Guixols are readily identified as is the square shaped Cala de Sant Pol. The high rise buildings of Playa d'Aro and Palamos can be seen from afar. Keep 0.25 mile of Punta de Molino and the breakwater will be seen from E of the point
From the north - From Cabo San Sebastian with its conspicuous lighthouse the cast is rocky and broken. The wooded Capo de Planas and the rocky Islas Hormigas can be recognised, yachts are best keeping to seaward of this rock. Two high rise buildings 500m to the north of Puerto Deportivo de Palamos can be seen. Keep 0.5 mile of the coast to avoid outlying dangers
To enter - Approach the head of the outer breakwater an round it leaving it 30m to starboard
