General - Puerto de Sitges is also known as Aigualdolc. It is an artificial yacht marina lying on the Costa Dorada on the E coast of Spain. Approach and entry are easy and there is good shelter inside. However winds from the SW do push some swell into the harbour.

Approach & Entrance;
From the south - The town and harbour of Vilanova i la Geltru are easily recognised. From there the coast to Sitges is low and flat. The buildings of the town have a conspicuous church at their E end and Puerto de Sitges lies 500m the E
From the north - Barcelona is easily identified by the mass of buildings. The flat and featureless delta of Rio Llobregat is followed by the hills of the Sierra de la Guardia. The harbour is near where this range of hill meets the coast and gives way to flat coastal plain. A conspicuous cement works lies 1.5 miles to the E of the harbour.
To enter - Approach on a NE course and enter in mid channel between the two breakwaters. The round the head of the W breakwater leaving it 25m to port.

Berths - Secure to the visitors berth and report to the Torre de Control.
