General - Puerto Oropesa de Mar, also known as Puerto Copfre, is on the E coast of Spain on the Costa del Azahar. Approach and entry are easy and their is good protection inside although some swell may enter from SW winds

Approach & Entrance;
From the south - The refinery at Castellon de la Plana and the town itself are readily identifiable. Cabo Oropesa, although not prominent can be identified by the lighthouse and tower on top. Puerto Oropesa de Mar in to the N of this cape.
From the north - Puerto de las Fuentes can be recognized by the sail shaped building. There are towers at both Capicorp and the mouth of the River Cuevas. Puerto Oropesa de Mar is just beyond the high rise buildings at Oropesa de Mar
To enter - Approach the head of the E breakwater on a NW course. Leave it 15m to starboard and take a N course into the harbour

Berths - Secure on the SW side of the harbour and ask at the Torre de Control
