Approach & Entrance - From the S Saplaya Marina lies 3 miles N of the huge breakwaters of Valencia harbour. The high rise blocks of flats that are part of the marina development will be seen from past Valencia. Closer in the rocky breakwaters running out from the beach will be seen. The second of these has a light at its head, do not confuse this with one of the entry breakwaters that lie 100m to the N. From the N Puerto de Sagunto can be identified by the 1700m long jetty extending from beside the harbour. In the closer approach the high blocks of flats and the breakwaters of Saplaya Marina are easily recognized. To enter approach on a NW course sounding continuously as entrance is prone to silting. Enter leaving the head of the E breakwater 15m to starboard and follow it around and into the marina..
