General - Artek Harbour lies on the Black Sea coast of the Ukraine. Good all round shelter but winds from the E - SE push some swell into the harbour making it uncomfortable.

Approach & Entrance; The point of Mis Ayu-Dag is prominent. The harbour lies 2 miles to the W, Yachts should stand off the coast and avoid two prominent offshore rocks 0.5 mile to the W of Artek. The breakwater will not be seen until close in. Care should be taken when passing through the narrow entrance at the E end of the breakwater.
