Position - 58º 59' N 2º 57' W Charts, Pilots & Cruising Guides - See the following link for UK Charts Approach & Entrance - Kirkwall Marina can be approached from the NW through Eynhallow Sound, from the N through Vasa Sound and from the E through Shapinway Sound. Make for a waypoint, position 59º 01.3' N 2º 57.1' W. The final approach is with St Magnus Cathedral bearing 190ºT. The entrance to Kirkwall Marina is immediately to the E of the large grey ice plant on the pierhead.
