From the open sea the nearest passages are Proversa Vela, between the islands of Katina and Kornat, and Proversa Mala, between the islands of Dugi Otok and Katina. Both are shallow, narrow and require caution

Sightseeing - The Kornati Archipelago consists of 147 islands, islets and reefs within the Kornati National Park. The area is famous for fascinating cliffs, stone pasture grounds and a variety of vegetation. Traces of Roman, Illyrian and medieval constructions are found on the islands. The islands are also full of old fish houses. Except for the largest island, Kornat, they are primarily uninhabited.
