General - El Rompido lies in the Atlantic coast of S Spain. It is one of the most attractive anchorages on this stretch of coast.

Approach & Entrance;
From the W -
From the E -
To enter - Yachts should make for the red and white striped buoy marking the entrance to the channel. Then follow the port and starboard hand markers up the channel. Depths over a bar are as little as 1m at low water springs.

Berths & Moorings - Anchor below the lighthouse on the N shore of the channel. The boatyard has mooring buoys.
