General - Club Nautico de Motril is located at Motril, on the Mediterranean coast of Andalucia in southern Spain. The facility offers berths, boatyard and a storage operation. Once a small fishing port the harbour has developed into a commercial port serving the inland city of Granada.

Depths at MLW - 5.5.

Protection/Shelter - In strong winds from the E - SE shelter can be found on the commercial pontoon. Obtain permission from the port captain first.

Approach and Entrance -

From the West - The buildings, cranes and silos just to the W of Cabo Sacratif show the position of the harbour.
From the East - The lighthouse on Cabo Sacratif can be seen from afar.
Entrance - Approach the eastern end of the outer breakwater, round it leaving it to port. Berth stern to on the pontoons of the Club Nautico in the NW corner of the harbour.

Berths & Moorings - 146 berths at the RCN de Motril. Reservations are not requires. Price is very high (April 09, 42 Euros per night for a 12m boat) It is also possible to anchor in the NW part of the harbour but space is limited.

Maximum length - 20m.

Chandlers or Ships' Store - 2 within a few minutes walk of the marina.
