On the whole a friendly yard, however we did find the owner probably one of the most ignorant rude and unhelpful people we had ever come across.However this was not the norm and the staff are pleasant with the standard of customer service being generally good." General - Davis Boatyard is situated next to Cobbs Quay Marina at Hamworthy in Poole Harbour on the coast of Dorset in southern England. The large, almost landlocked harbour is one of the largest natural harbours in the world. The facility offers berths, boat yard and a storage operation. Open - All year round Hours - Not known. Depths at MLW - Not known. Protection/Shelter - OK Approach and Entrance - Davis Boatyard is situated at Hamworthy in Holes Bay within Poole Harbour. The marina can be entered in all states of tide. Take care navigating the channel crossing Holes Bay as this is shallow in parts especially at low tide and some navigation markers are missing. Berths & Moorings - 102 berths . Reservations are required. Maximum length - The yard can cater for boats up to 12 meters with some along side berths available in the creek for larger vessals.. Water - On the pontoon.
