General - West Dock is located at Pelee Island, Ontario, an island in the western half of Lake Erie. Dockage when available is only on the north wall of the pier. West Dock is primarily there as a commercial landing for Ferry service and shipping & receiving. Don't expect to be greeted by a dockmaster or get shore hookups.

Berths, Slips & Moorings - Dockage when available is only on the north wall of the pier. Tie up is not an easy thing and depending on the lake level, boarding and unboarding can be treacherous to impossible from a small boat. Be sure to have plenty of bumpers.

Protection/Shelter - This pier is basically unprotected from an outlying breakwall and it often takes the brunt of the wind and wake from the west and north. Because of this, rafting off one another is not advisable.
