Lansdowne is a convenient starting plave for cruising the Thousand Islands, the archipelago that straddle the Canada-US border in the Saint Lawrence River as it emerges from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. They stretch for about 50 miles downstream from Kingston, Ontario. Peck's Marina offers rental slips, boat sales, rentals and storage. Transients are welcome.
