Approach and Entrance - The Huntington Harbour/Anaheim Bay entrance is located approximately 14NM NW of Newport Harbor entrance, and 5.7NM SE of Long Beach Harbor entrance. You must pass through Anaheim Bay (controlled by the U.S. Navy) to get to and from Huntington Harbour and under the Pacific Coast Highway Bridge (vertical clearance between 22' and 28'). When approaching the harbor, pick up lighted Bell Buoy "1" and lighted Whistle Buoy "2" which are a little less than a mile West of the entrance to the outer bay. Two additional markers indicate the direct course to follow to the entrance. Two long jetties protect the outer part of Anaheim Bay; lights are at the seaward ends and a fog signal is also at the end of the West jetty. The channel is marked by buoys, lights and a lighted range. After you have passed under the PCH Bridge, stay well within the small channel buoys to avoid the shallow areas. The channel bends to the right, then back to the left. The first building on your right will be the Mariner's Point (Shell Oil) Fuel Dock. Peter's Landing Marina is on your right, approximately .6NM from the bridge. . Protection/Shelter - Not Known Tides;
