General - Mystic Shipyard lies just below the railroad bridge, on the W shore of Mystic Harbor. The historic shipyard first opened its doors in 1843, building schooners and iron-clad ships. At the turn of the century it became a yacht building centre. Today it's a full-service marina and boatyard.

Approach & Entrance; From Fishers Island Sound make for Mystic Harbor. Mystic Shipyard lies on the W shore of the harbour. The distinctive glass dormers of the club house are easily visible as you approach.
