General - Oak Leaf Marina lies on the Connecticut River off Long Island Sound in the NE of the USA. The facility combines full service boatyard, docks and indoor storage. The outer docks are exposed to strong currents.

Approach and Entrance - From Long Island Sound make for the mouth of the Connecticut River (41° 16' N 72° 19' W). Old Saybrook lies on the W shore about 1 mile from the river mouth. Oak Leaf Marina is some 3.5 miles up river from its mouth, just after passing under the I-95 81' bridge. The gray dock house and the small red building are easily seen.
