General - New River Downtown Docks lies on the eastern coast of Florida in the south of the USA. The facility offers slips, other facilities are limited. There are no heads or showers. On the plus side it is located in the heart of the Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District. Fort Lauderdale is known as the "Venice of the United States". Combining the New River with an extensive network of canals and inlets there are in excess of 165 miles of navigable waterways.
