General - Fish Island Marina is located at St Augustine on the Atlantic Coast of Florida. The facility offers slips. The few facilities on site may be too basic for some, and provisioning is three miles away, but the marina offers to help out in any way possible.

Approach and Entrance - From the Atlantic Ocean make for the St Augustine Inlet. Fish Island Marina is located on the Matanzas River, almost at its confluence with the San Sebastian, just northeast of State Rd. 312 Bridge. The entrance to the inner harbor has only 3.5' at MLW and is used for long-term dockage only.

Castillo De San Marcos.is a fort begun in 1672 and constructed of native coquina rock. Very good bargain and lots of history. Be sure to take the ghost walk
Mission of Nombre De Dios is located on the west bank of Matanzas Bay, this historic site was the site of the first Catholic mass in the United States
Fort Matanzas was built by the Spanish in the early 1740s to guard the Matanzas Inlet and to allow warning should the British attempt invasion. A free ferry runs to the Fort which has a nature trail.
