General - Port of Ilwaco is located at Ilwaco, in the state of Washington on the Pacific coast of the NW USA. The facility offers slips. An on-site boatyard hauls out up to 50 tons, has a large area for do-it-yourself repairs, and on-the-hard storage plus a covered work area. It is home to a large number of charter, sport and commercial fishing boats.

Approach and Entrance - Use caution when entering from the ocean; over 2000 vessels have been lost trying to cross the bar at this "Graveyard of the Pacific." Port of Ilwaco lies on the Columbia River, at River Mile 3, 6 nautical miles upstream from its mouth. It is the closest marina to the mouth of the Columbia River. The guest docks are past the breakwater, in "East Main" on the south side of the marina.
