The Balearic Islands or Islas Baleares are to be found in the western Mediterranean several hundred kilometres of the eastern coast of Spain. Cadiz | ||||||||||||||||||||
Cadiz is situated on the Costa de la Luz on the Atlantic coast of southern Spain. A charter from Cadiz provides some great choices; In the Bay of Cadiz you can visit the attractive towns of El Puerto de Santa Maria and Rota and the city of Cadiz itself. The marinas of Rota and Santa Maria are just a few steps from their lively centres. Seville is a days sail up the River Guadalquiver. Sail west and check out the lovely beaches of the Algarve. The Costa del Azaha, also known as the orange blossom coast due to the expanses of fruit trees that grow just inland, stretches from the River Ebro delta down beyond Valencia. Most of our boats are located in Valencia's well appointed, centally located, marina. We also have a large selection of boats in Denia some 60 miles to the south Apart from a stretch of coast between Denia and Alicante Valencia's coast is in the main flat and not especially impressive. While November to February see many sunny days with pleasant temperatures they also see a number of stormy days accompanied by heavy rain. July and August are the most popular months, they also tend to be the most expensive and many marinas and resorts will be very crowded. The months either side of the peak summer period offer good value for money, temperatures are that little bit more comfortable and the area is will have less of a "busy" feel.
